An Se-young claims the top spot on the badminton money list, outpacing Axelsen.

She is a 21-year-old women's singles shuttler who has reached nine World Tour finals and won seven titles in the current year, earning more than RM1 million in prize money.   An Se-young's accomplishments have placed her well ahead of other notable players. Denmark's Viktor Axelsen, a men's singles shuttler, secured the second position on the money list with earnings of US$270,195 (RM1,253,705) from reaching four World Tour finals and capturing three titles.

  Interestingly, half of the top 10 earners on the list are women. Akane Yamaguchi of Japan, the Malaysian Open champion, secured the third spot with earnings of US$259,190 (RM1,202,642), and China's Chen Yufei finished fourth with US$175,760 (RM815,526).

In the mixed doubles category, Zheng Siwei-Huang Yaqiong from China earned joint sixth place with US$154,828 (RM718,401) each after winning the Super 1000 tournaments, including the Malaysian Open, All-England, and Indonesian Open.
